Maureen sold another short story, “A Tale of Two Kitties” to BelleBooks. This story will be included in the seventh book in the Mossy Creek series hitting bookstores July 2008. Title TBA.

It’s the time of year for goal setting.  My plan for 2008 is to finish two YA novels and to make sure the sewing committee for the Northeast Atlanta Ballet completes the fabulous new costumes we’re constructing for a piece called Fiddle Faddle, which will be performed in the spring.  This summer, we’ll be starting construction on costumes for Beauty and the Beast.  Sewing, I’ve discovered, is a lot like writing. You follow patterns, you redo the sections that aren’t working, and the projects always seem to take more time than you think they will.  

Maureen will be signing her latest BelleBooks' titles from 4-5:30 p.m. at the Hilton Atlanta Northeast on Saturday, September 29, 2007.
